Pietersquarter

Those who enter one of the many pleasant alleys from either the Breestraat or the Rapenburg automatically find themselves in the picturesque and attractive Pietersquarter. This part of the city is lovingly referred to as 'The pearl of Leiden'. But also the comparison with a diamond presents itself. Not a single piece of Leiden has so many facets as the surroundings of the Pieterskerk : culinary and poetic, picturesque and authentic.

Easy Access
The Pietersquarter lies in the heart of town and thus is highly accessible per bus (stop 'Breestraat') and by car. Parking your car is possible on the 'Haagweg' parking lot which offers a free shuttle bus service into the centre of town, on the 'Garenmarkt' and in the opposite 'Hoogvliet' car park and along the 'Steenschuur' up to the 'Rapenburg'. The quiet neighbourhood itself is deprived of the busy city traffic
